I have never blogged before , this is my first blogging, but I have been to the blogging site sponsored by the American Psychiatric Nursing Association,  The bloggers seems to have vital information that are  interesting and educational, they love what they blog. I found the site very interesting too. The bloggers expressed their  experiences and opinions freely for people to learn from.

  1. I have alittle experience with blogging. In middle school, i had a myspace profile where i created my own personal page and added information about myself for others to read. I could comment and message friends and add pictures to my page. I really liked myspace.com and it was a great way to network with friends. I recently search and found a Psychiatric blogging site called Psychiatric Times found at www.psychiatrictimes.com/blogg. On this blog you'll find opinions, advices and news from psychiatrists and other mental health professionals.

  2. Week 2

I have not participate in any form of blogs in the computer system. I heard about blog the first time last semester during my computer informatics class. I found a lot of website that have mental health blog, and some of the bloggers expresses their thought based on so many reasons. The website that l found interested was sponsored by the psych congress network. The blog was published by Leslie Durr, PHD, RN, PMHCNS-BC, is an advanced practice psychiatric-mental health nurse with a private psychotherapy practice in Charlottesville, Virginia.
She wrote about “A NURSE HOLISTIC APPROACH TO MENTAL HEALTH” using her personal experience as a psychiatric nurse as an example. She wrote on how her experience made her to apply holistic approach when caring for her client Mary who has depression disorder. She discussed a nurse’s holistic approach to mental that is different from other mental health discipline. She ended her blog by asking nurses if they have incorporated a holistic nursing perspective into their practice and how did you apply it. My comment towards this blog is that l am going to use the school holistic teaching the l have been taught in conceptual framework by Myra Levine model approach to take of my client when l will start working as a nurse after my graduation.

  4. I have very little experience blogging. However, as a teenager I have participated on many social networking site. These sites have given me the experience needed to be able to express my thoughts because the page belonged to me, so I was about to write what I wanted.
I visited a blog site sponsored by Psych Central, this website expressed multiple mental health disorders and what individuals thought of them. The site was very inviting, it was an easy read and was easy to follow. A very user friendly site.
